%100 AUTHENTIC Northern Vietnamese Phở.
I have been a regular customer here for 3 years now, and never in these 3 years I saw someone non-Vietnamese working here. Not that it matters but seeing someone claiming this is a Chinese place????? If you are used to the mainstream Southern style Phở -which is common in America, you will not get that experience in a NORTHERN place. Duh. There's no shame in admitting ignorance but accusing a small business of inauthenticity when you are the ignorant one is very disgraceful behavior.
For those who don't know; Southern style Phở is served with Hoisin sauce, Thai basil, bean sprouts. It's much sweeter. Northern style Phở on the other hand is NOT sweet, it's hearthy, lighter and simpler. It's close to the way Phở first originated in Vietnam, enjoyed with lime and garlic vinegar (there is also Sriracha). You can taste the delicious broth and meat very clearly. The broth is the star, it has so much flavor.
To be honest, it took me a few visits to get used to the non-sweetness. Because I was also used to the Southern style Pho, which is also beautiful but different. Actually you don't even have to get used to it, this place has many incredibly delicious meals you can choose from, other than Phở. The shrimp peanut noodle is otherworldly. The summer and spring rolls are always fresh and loaded. We tried every single dish in the menu over this 3 yearsand it does not disappoint. You cannot find this level of quality for noodles and ingredients in most other Asian restaurants in Rome.
I felt the need to write this since this place has a special place in my heart with its warm environment, kind and genuine workers and delicious meals. Also the prices are very very affordable and haven't changed since the first time I was here.

We came here everyday, after a long day of exploring. Even though we came here everyday, we didn’t get tired of the food. We highly recommend number 3, 7 and the spring rolls. Ms.Ezra is super nice and accommodating, she makes the service here great.

Really enjoyed it! The food was delicious and well-prepared — the broth was rich, the meat was tender, and the portion was generous. I also calculated the calories using the service shown in the photo — it turned out to be super convenient! For anyone keeping track of their diet, it’s a great find: you can quickly see the calories and macros without any hassle. I’ll definitely keep using it whenever I eat out.

Very homey, my family was in Italy for 2 weeks, we ended our trip in Roma and had meals here for our 3 days in the capital. Tried almost all the dishes, all very good, the broth is pretty much authentic. Beverages are good as well. Love the staffs, friendly and humourous, will be back again the next time I'm in Roma. Unfortunately, I did not take any photos of the dishes, was too hungry lol

Really great Vietnamese food! We love it here. Our server was very friendly and kind. The food is definitely authentic Vietnamese and very tasty. The Pho is northern style Viet Pho with really good beef. Bun Bo Nam Bo is also very tasty. We’ll definitely come back to try out all the other dishes.

Needed a break from pasta and pizza. Had egg rolls, mango salad, beef pho and vermicelli with grilled pork. Everything was very flavorful. The mango salad was very fresh and tangy. The beef pho was Northern Vietnamese style served without basil or hoisin sauce. The broth was pretty yummy. Had a chance to talk to the chef who is from Northern Vietnam! The vermicelli dish with pork didn’t have some of the usual herbs like mint but the flavor was very good nevertheless. I highly recommend the place if you are craving Vietnamese food.- Tipo di pasto

As a Vietnamese family, we loved this place! Delicious food and fast service for a great price. We got the pho Bo tai lan, pho Bo chin, and bun cha, and we really recommend those dishes. We tried the lemon mint tea too, and it was tasty and refreshing!

Was craving hot vietnamese food / soup really badly after having so much pasta on our trip so we found Pho 1. It was very good!! Hit the spot. They don't give Sriracha and Hoisin sauce on the side like we are used to having in America. but it was good!!! Clean restaurant friendly staff.
